What to expect
Your first visit will be longer than most appointments to get a full history and conduct a thorough assessment and come up with a treatment plan. Allow for a bit over 45 minutes. You will need to undress the relevant area of your body for this assessment, but this will occur in the privacy of a treatment cubicle or room.
Any follow up appointments will be 30 minutes to evaluate the outcome of the initial visit, establish that the treatment was the best possible choice to proceed further to get you on your road to recovery more quickly. Remember, the benefits of your treatment will be enhanced if you follow the guidelines around prevention of re-injury, doing any prescribed exercises and, stretches recommended by your Physiotherapist.
If you have private health insurance, at FullLife Physio® we can swipe your Private Health Insurance card through the HICAPs point-of-sale to receive the reimbursement immediately from your insurer and then we can swipe your credit card to pay the residual if there is a gap. Please remember to bring your Health Insurance Card.
If your injury is a result of a Work or Motor Vehicle accident, we ask that you pay for all treatment until you receive an acknowledgement from the insurer that your claim has been approved. From then on FullLife Physio® will invoice the insurer directly. Please note we do not accept interstate workers’ compensation claims.
